Sensor probe:USS02
The BST02a is used in combination with the USS-2a sensor probe to measure the intensity of capitation shock waves generated in the liquid of ultrasonic Kashi, and the BST02a provides a highly visible numerical data and bar graph display by processing sound pressure detection that is proportional to cavitation intensity. The USS-02a sensor probe is used in combination with the USS-2a sensor probe to measure cavitation strength. By placing the tip of the USS02a sensor probe in an ultrasonic wave, the sound pressure level can be measured. It is ideal for periodic control of sound pressure data in ultrasonic cleaning and deburring machines.

Selection of response speed
On the digital display, two response speeds, SLOW and QUICK, can be selected to suit the purpose.
- SLOW
An averaging time constant of 5 or 6 seconds is provided to slow down fluctuations in data values.
*Suitable for periodic sound pressure control.
- QUICK
Relatively early averaging time constant to follow fine fluctuations.
*It is suitable for matching adjustments of the transmitter and transducer, etc.
Battery-powered
- Use of four UM-3s, which are easy to procure.
- Handy type with no power cord to drag.
- Auto power off: automatically switches off after 15 minutes of no signal to prevent battery drain.
- External power adapter included.
Excellent linearity of sensitivity
Cavitation intensity self: the design emphasises the linearity of detection sensitivity from weak to strong sound pressure, which has improved the accuracy of capturing the distribution of ultrasonic intensity densities in ultrasonic liquids.
External outputs
Various outputs can be obtained from the 3.5 cpJACK of Backa, 0UT-1 and 0UT-2.
- DC output OUT-2(1) for poutarogger (front digitizer), 1/10 DOI is output immediately.
- Analogue original signal 0UT-2 (2) from the sensor probe, connected to an oscilloscope for waveform observation.
- LOW Level judgment signal (arbitrary level setting) OUT-1(1)
Linked to the LOW level detection LED on the front. Can be used as an alarm signal.
- STRONG level judgment signal (arbitrary level setting) OUT-1(2)
Linked to the STRONG level detection LED on the front. Can be used as an alarm signal.
