Ultrasonic foil burr removal
There are many processes that generate foil burrs, such as in-mold printing, decorative printing, and hot stamping. Or, the metal foil burrs on semiconductor parts can also destabilize quality.
Blue Star R&D removes burrs and cleans them by controlling the positive and negative impact forces of the cavities (micro vacuum nuclei) generated by ultrasonic waves. If the impact force is too strong, there is a possibility that unnecessary parts will be peeled off, but by controlling the positive and negative impact forces, the optimal state is stably maintained.
Unlike CO2, ice, or micro shot blasting materials, foil burr removal and precision cleaning can be carried out simultaneously, and drying can be automated in the next process. The greatest feature of ultrasonic burr removal is that the negative shock wave of the cavity can peel off the foil burrs that are tightly attached to the surface. The characteristic of the impact force of the ultrasonic cavity is that the pulling force is greater than the pushing force.
This is the main difference from other deburring methods that only push.
The evolution of ultrasonic technology continues.
