Brominated solvents/Chemical formula C7H7Br and HFC-365mfc are becoming popular in Japan, China, and some parts of Asia.
Although our cleaning equipment is basically water-based, we have decided to provide our customers with ultrasonic cleaning technology for solvents again, which boasted of its amazing cleaning power in the era of CFC-113 (CFC-113).

No matter how good ultrasonic waves are applied to a solvent, if the dissolved gases in the solvent are not removed, countless visible air bubbles will be generated from the surface of the diaphragm, eliminating the ultrasonic waves.
Visible bubbles do not constitute ultrasonic cleaning; it is merely ultrasonic bubbling.
This is not even 1/10th of the true capability of solvent ultrasonic cleaning.
No more foam-filled ultrasonic cleaning.
The new fluorinated cleaning solvent HFC-365mfc and the brominated cleaning solvent (Depzol/Absol) are both excellent cleaning solvents with very distinctive characteristics. The former is relatively close to CFC-113 (CFC-113), while the latter has characteristics similar to 1.1.1 trichloroethane.
Although there is a big difference in KB value, a measure of dissolving ability, both have a heavier density than water and very low surface tension.
In other words, if ultrasonic waves can generate a myriad of correct cavities (groups of micro vacuum nuclei), they should be able to demonstrate excellent cleaning power.
However, as was the case with general CFC ultrasonic cleaning, it is not possible to achieve true ultrasonic cleaning power if this is not done. The reason for this is that the solvent contains a large amount of air dissolved in it, and no matter how powerful ultrasonic waves are radiated into the liquid, countless air bubbles are generated from the surface of the diaphragm, absorbing, reflecting, and erasing the ultrasonic energy. See the video in the previous section. (This fact was presented by our technical advisor shibano at the International Conference on Stratospheric Ozone Control in Washington in 1993.) It is very unfortunate that there are still people who think that visible bubbles are cavities (cavitation) generated by ultrasound. They are invisible to the eye. Now, shibano has devised and patented a revolutionary system that efficiently removes air from the solvent and blocks the re-dissolution of air.
This is called the dual interface ultrasonic cavitation enhancement system. This system allows the solvent to discard the solvent at its full potential. The difference in cleaning power is evident from the fact that the sound pressure of the double-interface system under the same conditions is 12V (i.e., more than 4000 times higher), which is 2 to 3mV for foamy general solvent ultrasonic cleaning, according to our ultrasonic sound pressure meter measurement. Instead of using them as sonic cleaning solvents, use them correctly as true ultrasonic cleaning solvents for the new era to ensure the best cleaning power.

Model CERES-EHS
automatic degasser for solvents of double interface type.
It can be used for HFC-365mfc, Depzol/Absol and various other solvents.
The basic process is powerful precision ultrasonic cleaning (vertical or rotational) ⇒ steam cleaning ⇒ autothermal drying. In addition to
the one-cycle automatic machine shown in the photo on the left, we also manufacture
2-tank and 3-tank automatic machines
. We believe that our customers will be satisfied with the extraordinary cleaning power of our machines.
