Start of regeneration test of hollow fiber modules for degassing 2022/3/4
In ultrasonic deburring equipment for water and pure water, the hollow fiber module for degassing is the most important piece of equipment, and its cost cannot be said to be low. Although cartridge filters are always installed to prevent clogging, the efficiency of filter supplementation is of course not 100%. Contamination, chips and burrs further pulverized by ultrasonic waves clog the hollow fiber.
Usually, backwashing is used to alleviate clogging, but some hollow fibers are so badly clogged that they must be replaced. Currently, BlueImpact, an
ultrasonic vacuum degassing system that does not use hollow fibers and does not cause clogging, has been put to practical use, eliminating the need to rely solely on hollow fibers. However, the BlueImpact ultrasonic vacuum degassing system is larger, takes up more space, and has a more complicated mechanism compared to hollow fiber. Hollow fiber is very easy to use.
Therefore, we will continue to use the hollow fiber degassing module.
Therefore, the establishment of regeneration technology is very important.
From these perspectives, we have been conducting development experiments on regeneration technology.
As for plastic fines, at this point, there is no method other than backwashing. However, we have succeeded in regenerating some metal parts that were clogged with fine particles, and we have succeeded in making them perform as well as new ones. If you are having trouble regenerating hollow fiber modules by backwashing, please contact us to see if we can help you. We will see if we can regenerate it.
[We are currently continuing development of an ultra-compact, cleaning and degassing device in addition to the above.
