2022 Industrial Technology Award for Materials Science and Technology

The Bunbon Awards are given
to developers of superior industrial technology that has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the technology level of the Japanese industrial materials
and shapes industry. The award was given in 2022 as a special prize by the Industrial Materials Technology Award Committee.

The Ministry of Education, Culture,Sports, Science and Technology(MEXT) has been honoring individuals who have made outstanding achievements in research and development and promotion of understanding of science and technology as the "Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
We are pleased to announce that Yoshihide Shibano, Chairman of Blue Star R&D, Inc. has been awarded the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture,Sports,Science and Technology in the field of science and technology for fiscal year 2008.

Received the Jury Chairman’s Special Award at the 15th New Machine Promotion Awards, 2017

Organized by: Japan Society for the Promotion of Machine Industry
The purpose of the Prize for Promoting Machine Industry is to contribute to the promotion of Japan's machine industry by recognizing companies, institutions, and R&D personnel who have made significant contributions to the progress and development of machine industry technology through outstanding research and
development and the practical application of the results of that research and development.
The purpose of this award is to contribute to the promotion of the machinery industry in Japan.
Blue Star R&D Inc. was awarded the Jury’s Special Prize of the 15th “New Machine Promotion Award” for fiscal year 2009.
The Minister of International Trade and Industry Award was presented to Toyota Motor Corporation.

Fiscal Year 2016

Won the Grand Prize in the Technology/Product Category (Tama Blue Prize) of the 14th Tama Blue/Green Prize

The Tama Blue Green Award recognizes the outstanding technology and management skills of small and medium-sized
companies that are active in the region.
Blue Star R&D Inc. received the Grand Prize in the Technology/Product Category (Tama Blue Award) of the 14th Tama Blue Green Award in 2016, and was presented with a certificate, a plaque, and a supplementary prize of 1 million yen.

Certified as “Sagamihara City Trial Order Certified Product” in FY 2016

The Sagamihara City Trial Order Certification System is a system that certifies small and medium-sized enterprises in the city that are trying to develop new business fields by producing excellent new products as “those who are trying to develop new business fields by producing new products” supports the development of sales channels for these new products, promotes the local economy, and also allows the city to purchase and evaluate some of these products on a trial basis. The city also purchases a portion of the products on a trial basis and evaluates them.
Blue Star R&D Inc. was certified as a “Sagamihara City Trial Order Certified Product” for fiscal 2016.

41st Invention Grand Prize, Japan Society for the Promotion of Invention Chairman’s Award

Japan Society for the Advancement of Inventions / Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Ltd.
The Invention Awards are given to small and midsize companies that have created excellent technologies and products through highly original inventions, and their
achievements are introduced to the general public.
Blue Star R&D, Inc. received the 2016 Japan Society for the Promotion of Invention Chairman’s Award, a certificate of commendation and a supplementary prize of 500,000 yen.

Winner of the Kanagawa “Industrial Navi Awards” 2015 Frontier Division Grand Prize

The Foundation for the Promotion of Welfare commends and supports the development of services (new sales methods, etc.), products, goods, and technologies developed or invented by small and medium- sized enterprises in Kanagawa Prefecture that have produced concrete business effects, such as increased sales and expanded sales channels, with the aim of promoting the continued development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kanagawa Prefecture and creating business opportunities.
Blue Star R&D Inc. received the Grand Prize in the Frontier Division for 2015 and was presented with a Certificate of Commendation, Certificate of Recognition, and a plaque.

Received the 27th “Small and Medium Enterprises Excellent NewTechnology and New Product Award” Excellence Award.

The Resona Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun have established the “Small and Medium Enterprise Outstanding New Technology/New Product Award! since 1988 with the aim of promoting the technology of small and medium enterprises and contributing to the development of Japanese industry. Awarded the Incentive Prize at the 31st Kanagawa Industrial Technology Development Awards

Our ultrasonic deburring and cleaning system received the Encouragement Award of the Kanagawa Industrial Technology Awards.
The ultrasonic deburring system eliminates the manpower required for deburring and improves quality to enhance global competitiveness.
At the same time, it is a new microfabrication finishing process.
I would like to thank the many people who provided guidance in this award.

Kanagawa Prefecture Block Engineering Award, Kanto Branch, Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers

November 21, 2012 Our ultrasonic deburring and cleaning technology was recognized by the Kanagawa Prefecture block of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and received the Technology Award.
This is a further encouragement for us to continue to evolve ultrasonic deburring technology as one of the ultrasonic cavitation application technologies.

Kanagawa Prefecture Creative New Technology Research and Development Plan Review Results Approval

May 26, 2012, we received approval from Kanagawa Prefecture for our Creative New Technology Research and Development Plan. We believe that the creation of a powerful ultrasonic deburring system is very important for small and medium-sized processing industries that are plagued by burrs.
As processing technology becomes more and more precise and plastic materials continue to evolve,burrs are becoming more and more delicate and diverse. We are trying to develop a powerful deburring method that does not pollute the environment and leaves stable results, starting with the development of an ultrasonic vibration element exclusively for deburring. We will continue to develop ultrasonic deburring equipment that will please our customers, and we will not be embarrassed by this certification. We look forward to your continued support.
