Hyaluronic acid, which helps keep skin young, is an organic ultra-high polymer with a molecular weight of 2~3 million or more. Because of its large molecular structure, even if it is applied to the skin, it does not penetrate the dermis and cannot be expected to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles or restore moisture. Therefore, the only way is to inject it into the dermis layer through cosmetic surgery.

It is known that if the molecular weight of hyaluronic acid can be reduced to 850 or less, it can penetrate into the dermis, the lower layer of the skin, just by applying it to the surface of the skin, and restore firmness, moisture, and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles.

Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid can be produced using enzymes, but enzymes are expensive and are used only in some medical applications.

Bluestar R&D has succeeded in breaking up organic supramolecules and reducing their molecular weight to less than 850 by using positive and negative shock waves generated by ultrasonic waves that repeat more than 20,000 times per second in an ultra-large cavity (vacuum energy ball) with a diameter of 10 mmφ or more.
